Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team.
This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and
strategic guidance to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales,
product, and engineering teams to drive the adoption of our security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to communicate customer
requirements and contribute to product enhancements. - Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process, including responding to
RFPs and RFIs. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers,
partners, and internal teams. - Acquiring new customers by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in software supply chain
security. - Act as a trusted advisor, educating customers on best practices for software supply
chain security. - Support customer onboarding and initial implementation of security solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, compliance standards (e.g., SLSA,
NIST, ISO 27001), and competitive landscape. - Assist in the creation of technical documentation, whitepapers, and case studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales role, preferably in the
software security or DevOps domain. - Strong understanding of software supply chain security, DevSecOps, CI/CI Pipeline and
related technologies. - Experience with Kubernetes, cloud-native security, and infrastructure-as-code security is
a plus. - Hands-on experience with container security, SBOM (Software Bill of Materials),
SAST/DAST tools, and cloud security solutions. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex
technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with container security, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native technologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, and various security frameworks.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or security domains (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
