Tech Fest Hong Kong 2026: Conversations That Matter 

Tech Fest Hong Kong was a valuable experience and a strong reminder that, even in a world driven by rapid technological change, meaningful conversations remain at the heart of innovation.

As an exhibitor sponsor, Team CleanStart had the opportunity to connect with technology leaders, developers, cloud-native practitioners, and cybersecurity professionals from across the APAC region. The event brought together a vibrant community eager to discuss emerging technologies, cloud-native adoption, AI-driven development, and modern security challenges.

While there was plenty of innovation on display, the most valuable takeaway for our team came from the conversations we had throughout the event.

A recurring theme emerged across many discussions: organizations are struggling to secure modern cloud-native environments without slowing down development. Teams spoke about challenges related to container security, vulnerability overload, unmanaged workloads, and balancing security requirements with developer productivity.

These conversations reinforced a trend we're seeing across the industry. More organizations are shifting toward a foundation-first approach to security, focusing on securing software foundations and container base images before vulnerabilities reach production.

At the CleanStart booth, we shared how hardened and minimal container images can help reduce vulnerability noise, minimize attack surfaces, and simplify software supply chain security from the start. What resonated most was our focus on practical, developer-friendly security that doesn't add friction to engineering teams.
