Role Overview:
As an Associate Threat Research Engineer (Junior 2) on our Threat Research team, you will
begin your journey in vulnerability management and security advisory processes. With
entry-level experience, you will learn to work with our vulnerability pipeline tool, assist with
basic scanner integrations, and support customer advisory activities. Your role provides an
excellent opportunity to develop expertise in security operations while contributing to our
vulnerability tracking and management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn to operate and maintain our vulnerability pipeline tool
- Assist with basic security scanner integration tasks
- Support the preparation of customer advisories under supervision
- Help organize vulnerability data by criticality and exploitability
- Learn compliance tracking and monitoring procedures
- Assist with routine vulnerability database maintenance tasks
- Help maintain documentation of security processes and findings
- Support basic security assessment activities
- Learn vulnerability management principles and practices
- Grow skills in security advisory and notification systems
Required Qualifications:
- 0-1 year of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields
- Basic understanding of security concepts and vulnerabilities
- Familiarity with data tracking and organization
- Interest in security operations and vulnerability management
- Basic computer skills and aptitude for learning technical tools
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
